Peter Lundberg creates his giant concrete and steel sculptures by using the earth itself as a mold. In addition to the pieces on display at SAW, his work can been seen at sculpture parks throughout the Northeast and Midwest. Storm King Art Center invited Lundberg to display two of his pieces there between 2002 and 2004. These pieces can now be seen at the Saratoga Polo Grounds, where Lundberg helped start their sculpture program. He also founded the Connecticut Sculpture Park in 1996, which now has sites in Norwalk and Bridgeport. His work will soon be seen in the Holland Tunnel's newly renovated exit plaza in Manhattan. Lundberg lives and works in Bomoseen, VT.
